A dual LED tactical style flashlight that illuminates near and far at the same time!

Troutman, NC – STKR is proud to announce their latest innovation in flashlights, the B.A.M.F.F. Tactical Series.  The B.A.M.F.F.’s are a series of Dual CREE LED Tactical Flashlights. B.A.M.F.F., aka “Broad Array Multi Flood Flashlight” (among other creative acronyms), combines a powerful spot light for long distance visibility, with a wide-angle flood light for close range area lighting. These two LEDs can be used simultaneously or independently to provide you with more useful light and increase your overall visibility.

A few flashlights offer flood and spotlight options, but they accomplish the two light options by using a zoom lens, making the user pick between flood or spot.  The B.A.M.F.F. series offers the user the option to flood the immediate area, and cast a blinding spotlight into the distance, at the same time.  This dual LED combination illuminates the users’ peripheral vision as well as their focal point.  Users can now see far down the hiking trail, while also lighting up the area around their feet and both sides of the path.

The B.A.M.F.F. series is available in 6 models; the 2.0, 4.0, 4.0xL, 6.0, 8.0, and 10.0. All models feature the dual CREE LED head, aircraft grade aluminum body, waterproof construction, removable belt clip, S.O.S. and disorienting strobe modes, and tactical style bludgeon tip for self-defense. The 2.0 is the entry level lumen flashlight that touts a respectable 200 lumens, is powered by 3 “AAA” batteries, and retails for only $29.99. The next step up is our 4.0 and 4.0xL featuring 400 lumens and retailing at just $39.99. While offering the same features, the 4.0xL is a larger version allowing for better self-defense. If more power and runtime is desired, then look no further than the 6.0, 8.0, and 10.0. All three options come well equipped with an 18650 rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and USB charging kit.  Also, as a unique emergency feature, both the 6.0 and 8.0 come with a “AAA” battery cartridge for those times when you can’t charge your rechargeable 18650 battery, thus ensuring you are never left in the dark.  The 6.0 comes with a 2000mAh rechargeable battery and pierces the night sky with 600 lumens at a retail of $59.99.  The 8.0 features a large capacity 2600 mAh rechargeable battery and emits a blinding 800 lumens for only $79.99. Finally, the 10.0 brings it home with 1000 lumens and all the options you could want in a flashlight. Including a picatinny rail mount, direct USB-rechargeable battery, and remote pressure switch, you don’t want to leave home without this power house, valued at $99.99. All flashlights provide an optimum field of view for a wide array of activities including camping, hunting, hiking, police, military, repair, and daily carry.

The B.A.M.F.F. will open your eyes to a whole new way of seeing at night. The B.A.M.F.F. eliminates the tunnel vision you get with a traditional flashlight and allows you to utilize your peripheral vision.  The broader range of light greatly increases your field of view by illuminating objects, or even dangerous situations, that otherwise would have been left in the shadows.

Can the 6.0 use the 260 mAh battery? Will this cause it to overheat or at a minimum get hot? Are there any downsides? Thanks.
